Picturesque Waterloo Alabama is in the very northwest corner of Alabama on the banks of Pickwick Lake and the Tennessee River. Not far from Hart’s RV Park and Campground on the water, you can fish in three states – Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi!
Waterloo is a stop on the North Alabama Birding Trail and renowned for its’ Bald Eagle population. Pelicans, herons, egrets , hawks and more are here for birdwatchers.

This is our first year of having a getaway camper in this beautiful park. We have loved the short time being here. Everyone treats each other like family. If you are looking for rest and relaxation on a piece of Gods beautiful creation, this place is it!!!

Hi, I was checking to see if you have sites w water elec hook up , but for tent camping preferably close to water and with some shade ? I’m not the youngest camper and will be with my daughter , so trying to make sure we have set up easy enough for me to do will help- also, would fire pit be there or camp fire ok. And is a table or grill available ? Thanks so much

YOu can rent an electric site for tents, but the closest tent sites to the water are primitive. We do have a bathhouse and you can have access to water and to charge your phone. Most of our sites are shady. You can have a camp fire near the water, and we do have some fire pits available. No grills or table in the primitive sites but there are tables at the electric sites. And I have one that’s pretty close to the water. It’s a good idea to call ahead because we have a lot of reservations. Thank you for contacting use!
We have been staying at Hart’s Campground for 15 years! It’s a great spot beautiful right on the river we have gotten to know the owner Bettina she is a super sweet lady! She now has a manager Tiffany and she is fantastic! I would recommend this Campground to anybody we always enjoy staying there and our fur babies Ollie and Henry highly recommend Hart’s also!

Yes we are, except our campground area is closed right now for upgrades.
